Opening sequences and Characters - 'Bay Watch'

 

In the opening sequence of Baywatch, we are introduced to Mitch buchanan. Mitch is introduces to us as the main character and we see more shots of him than we do of the other characters, through dialogues of his we are shown that he is serious about lifeguarding. We are also introduced to Matt, who is presented as Mitch's counterpart. He is presented as arrogant, reckless and immature, and this is shown through his first few shots where he is shown to use dismissive gestures and his body language help to position him as an outsider.
