Opening sequences and Setting - The Autopsy Of Jane Doe
The film's opening sequence is set in a small townhouse, where multiple murders have taken place, the bodies laying around the floor. However the prime focus is of the pristine, half buried corpse of Jane Doe, which lies in the basement. The unsettling contrast of this sets the tone of the film. The setting is then changed to a morgue, a space which is tight and dingy, with low lighting, creaking corridors and old equipment.
